About Our Camp Programs

We provide fast-paced adventures in problem solving. Our campers’ days are filled with hands-on learning and challenging activities guaranteed to get their creativity flowing! No prior experience in creative problem solving is necessary, but campers should have an enthusiasm for group activities, curiosity, a sense of humor, and enjoy a challenge!

Our program focuses on helping each camper develop their potential. The goal is to empower our campers to approach life’s challenges with confidence. We do this by honing their creative and critical thinking skills, leadership skills, problem solving abilities, and teamwork. “Gotta Camp” creates a safe, structured, caring and supportive environment. Campers are encouraged to share their talents, to take risks, to recognize their similarities and differences, to be inclusive, become leaders, and to have fun! At Camp Gottalikachallenge, campers form lasting friendships with their teammates and dorm buddies.

Overnight camp is six days and five nights of non-stop activity, right from the first moment! Each morning, campers work in teams of 10 with two staff members to create a solution to the week’s Gotta-Problem – this includes coming up with a story, writing and learning a script, and building all of the associated props, scenery, costumes, and technical devices.

Every afternoon, campers select from a wide variety of activities—outdoor games, swimming, or a specialty session—a potpourri of stagecraft techniques, arts and crafts, unusual projects, and so much more. Evening activities range from campfires to group games and even a talent show. Finally, we wind down with milk and cookies before turning in at the end of the day.
